Sweet and Savory Solutions from Bangle and Clutch?
Sweet and Savory Solutions from Bangle and Clutch…that’s right!
As far back as I can remember my favorite holiday was Thanksgiving. The comfort of gathering with family and friends around delicious foods often as well as on special occasions and for holidays is something I have always cherished. To me these are the times in our lives when memories are made, love and laughter are shared and those who have passed remembered …all of which are priceless.
I’m super excited to announce that I’m entering a new chapter in my life. I’m proud to say that my sons and I have recently purchased a sweet and savory food manufacturing company with two upscale retail bakeries. Ganache Premium Cakes and Confections is the name of our new business and you can learn more about us by visiting our website www.ganachepremiumcakes.com. While I still hold inspiration in high regard and will continue to seek it out and share it with my online community as well as others, I hope you will come along on with me on my new venture.
We have lots of dreams and plans for the direction and growth of this company. Although we have plenty of work ahead of us we look forward to the tremendous opportunities owning a family business can bring. As most of you know, I believe that everything happens for a reason and I feel grateful and blessed to be able to have this amazing new chapter of my life unfold with my sons at my side. I hope you do join me on my exciting new adventure and I hope we will be able to help you make your life a little sweeter as well.
Please look for us on Facebook (under Ganache) as well as other social media locations coming soon! If you or your company have any wholesale needs you can look for Pastry Strudel House in South Windsor CT, this is actually the kitchen where all the sweet and savory magic happens. All of our products are created and baked fresh daily and I know you will love them as much as we do! Thanks for all of your support and here’s to having your cake and eating it too!

Most people can not see passed the end of their own nose, it is to high in the air to see others … but I do and I love you … and I am here … We all need to “Do unto others, as you would have them Do unto you” … NOT … Do unto other before they Do unto you!

I am a complicated person, an artist, a singer, caregiver and now a storyteller. Most of my life I have quietly sat back listening and watching people. I have listened to many stories and I have seen many things, some not so nice. I am a very spiritual person and turn to God in all things prayer is the answer to every problem.http://giftsofdawn.wordpress.com

Today My Baby Turns 22
Today My Baby Turns 22 that’s right. Wow time really does fly.
Today my baby turns 22 and is now a man, no longer in need of mommy. That’s right babies grow. But where did the time go? Seems like only yesterday I was up in the night feeding him every two hours, a mere 7lbs. 2oz. fitting snuggly in my arm he is now 6’4” towers over me and wakes with a five o’clock shadow. How is it I still see him as my little baby? Happily wishing him the best birthday and a long happy, healthy life full of success I am a bit sad for my own selfish reasons. I am wondering if I am all I thought I would be at this time in my life. Although Ken has grown into a young man with a big heart, high integrity, dependable, honest and loyal to a near fault, as well as extremely hardworking, today I am left wondering if worse than the reality that I still have so much to accomplish in my own life, if I have been a good mother. I think it is natural to wonder but I question if I should have had more patience, if I was too hard on him, if I should have given him more of my time when he could’ve used it. Did I provide the right amount of emotional and financial support? You know you are old when … I am looking back and I wish not only that I had spoiled him more and taken him on more vacations but that I had soaked in every single second of his life instead of cleaning the house and working all the hours I could.
Dear Ken,
I know you didn’t have everything you could ever ask for growing up but I did the very best I could right or wrong. As you venture off into the world on your own I hope you know that your entire life and the bright future ahead of you are now all yours for the taking. Don’t be afraid to take chances. You can do, become and conquer anything you put your strong willed mind to. Always stand up for yourself, keep the feelings of others in mind but do not allow others to put limitations on you as you move toward your dreams and successes. Remember that any failure you may face is a chance to learn and for every door that closes a better one will open believe it. The respect and admiration I have for you today I always will. Wherever you go and whatever you do may the warmth of the love I have had for you since birth surround you. I couldn’t be happier for you or more proud of the man you have become. I cherish the memories we’ve built and I look forward to our future together not only as mother and son but as friends. I love you Ken Happy Birthday!
Love always,
Mom xo

Stop American Censorship
Help stop American Censorship
“The potential for abuse of power through digital networks – upon which we as citizens now depend for nearly everything, including our politics – is one of the most insidious threats to democracy in the Internet age … This is no time for politicians and industry lobbyists in Washington to be devising new Internet censorship mechanisms, adding new opportunities for abuse of corporate and government power over online speech.”
- Rebecca MacKinnon (New York Times)
Insecurity Quotes #1
Insecurity is just something that’s there all the time. I’ve never been crippled by it.

Travel Around Australia
Travel Around Australia…and catching up with the Wood family.
It’s good to know what we are doing, and where are going to be. But at the same time I so wished that we were heading out of here today! I feel like we are stuck in “Ground Hog Day” – have you seen that movie? Travel Around Australia is all the I have wanted to do since early last year! Have you got a Passion for Adventure? Not sure where I have gotten my passion for adventure, and my desire to Travel around Australia! Maybe I got it from my late Grandma…..she used to tell me the most amazing stories when I was growing up…about where she had been, what she had seen. Mind you her Adventures were from reading books. We are so grateful that we are living in our Motorhome, and that we will be traveling Australia. But at the same time, we are staying in one place for the moment due to family reasons. Have you ever traveled as a backpacker? Recently I got to stay in a Backpackers hotel in Melbourne. It was so much fun, to stay at backpackers, and meet so many wonderful people who were traveling Australia. Some of them were from overseas, some of them from Australia. I got to experience a bit of Melbourne, and a bit of what life is like for those that live out of a Bag. I never had a desire to travel when I was younger. I never had the desire to go backpacking after finishing year 12 in High school. Now I have that desire. I so wished we could travel. I so wished that we could travel around Australia, and see the many different places…..without having to worry about accommodation! Doesn’t make sense – I know that I love our Motorhome. I know that I love our new life. But yet I have a desire to travel…with a backpack? What is that all about!! I never ever liked camping. I have tried camping – on so many different occasions and I never ever enjoyed the experience. So why do I feel like I could do backpacking? Why do I feel like I could Travel Australia as a backpacker? Maybe because I never had the desire to travel when I was younger, I now have the desire to travel any which I can!! How you ever had this desire to Travel Around Australia? Maybe you are already traveling? Would love to hear what you think about Traveling in a Motorhome, or traveling as a backpacker!
